Youth on Course
This is a program hosted by Golf Canada. All juniors that purchase a youth on course membership ($30.00) will be eligible to play at participating Youth on Course facilities for just $5.00 within designated time frames. The Greens at Renton will honour this rate for all Youth on Course members after 4pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. With the membership, juniors will also have the capability to submit their own scores to keep and establish a Golf Canada handicap.
Weekly Clinics
The Greens weekly clinics are for those individuals interested in starting their journey in golf. The program is run by Director of Golf, Jacob Erwin. Participants will have the opportunity to learn numerous skills such as movement fundamentals, motor skills and applied golf skills. Additionally, students will be provided the chance to participate in a class that focuses on experiences and environments. The goal of this program is to introduce students to the game of golf while being immersed in a setting that is based on PLAY and GAMES.
Summer Camps
The Greens at Renton summer camps will continue to follow the path of using golf to create an immersive game-based PLAY environment. The program will consist of multiple stations that will work on swing mechanics, short game, putting, and on-course activities over a 3-hour duration. The objective of these camps is to provide students the opportunity to play golf, while being put into an experience filled with games and play. It is our belief that this type of experience will provide the child with the opportunity to grow several child-appropriate competencies such as physical, mental, and social skills.
